Company Facts
Corrigo's founders recognized that several technology trends were converging to allow the creation of a new generation of service management solutions that could operate the way service managers wanted to work. The emergence of reliable wireless data communications to cell phones and PDAs meant that field staff and managers could now be constantly connected and could eliminate the inefficiencies of paper processing. Buyers and suppliers were starting to integrate their systems, increasing supply chain efficiency. On-demand software meant that businesses didn't need to buy software or become IT experts to get access to high quality business applications. For the first time, all the critical actors in the service delivery chain could be connected into an efficient, transparent process. Corrigo's solution was designed to fully exploit these trends and to serve companies inadequately served by existing software solutions.
Corrigo Firsts
In 1999, Corrigo was first to market with a web-based field service management application enabling two-way communication using mobile phones and RIM pagers, today's BlackBerry™ devices. Designed from the ground up for the on-demand world, Corrigo's technical approach enabled rapid deployment and immediately increased service productivity while eliminating infrastructure and the hidden costs associated with traditional software deployments. This on-demand solution also makes overall cost of ownership extremely low.
Corrigo was also first to build industry-specific services best practices into its solution. An underlying knowledgebase contains thousands of models and services best practices to help your customer service staff efficiently and accurately diagnose issues and assign the most appropriate resources for their resolution.
Corrigo had extended its solution to tie together all the key actors in the "building ecosystem"—building owners, property managers, builders, and the service community that supported them.
Corrigo continues to innovate, working with leading customers, communications and application partners to develop solutions to improve our customer's service operations and profitability.
